Sustainable livestock was in the spotlight at this year’s Climate Week NYC, and ZELP’s CEO Francisco Norris helped shape two of the conversations driving it forward.
Francisco joined the panel “Moo’ving dairy forward: an ecosystem approach for emission reductions”, hosted by Mars, to discuss how collaboration, innovation, and investment can unlock meaningful emissions reductions in the dairy sector.
Francisco also participated in an invite-only session convened by Clean Air Task Force, Climate & Clean Air Coalition, Spark Climate Solutions, and Environmental Defense Fund, where the focus was on what it will take to scale sustainable agriculture. He underscored why the ability to measure and monitor methane emissions at scale is essential, and highlighted how ZELP Sense can support evaluation of mitigation strategies including nutrition and genetics.
